Community Learning Outreach

Our Community Learning Outreach programmes aim to enable all members of the local community to access learning and secure the best possible outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantaged adults in the community.

Our community courses are great for those who want to try something new, gain confidence with learning, become more involved in their community or improve their skills to get them on the road towards realising their life goals.

You cannot enrol individually on Outreach programmes; we work closely with a range of partners to create tailored courses for small groups of learners. We run many different courses for families, adults and older residents in partnership with a range of organisations, from small voluntary groups to community centres and residential providers as well as Bromley services such as Bromley Well. A wide variety of subjects include English literacy and language, numeracy, preparation to employment, creative arts, crafts, computing, cookery, confidence building, exercise, family learning, mindfulness, and courses for learners with disabilities or learning difficulties.

Community Learning

If you are interested in joining a course, please contact us at enquiries@baec.ac.uk so that we can put you in touch with one of our partner organisations, depending on your circumstances.

If you would like more information on our partnership work or if you belong to a community group and you would like to talk to us about our Community Learning partnership opportunities, please email helen.hart@baec.ac.uk or call 0208 8659 7976.
